TecCom offers a wide range of products and services to suppliers and buyers in the automotive aftermarket. TecCom’s basic product is the TecLocal software for order processing. This can be used for express and stock orders whether or not it is integrated in an ERP system. With full integration, ordering can even be fully automatic. Different data formats like CAP or EDI can be converted by the TecConversion Center for use by TecLocal.
TecCom also offers suppliers the TecBusiness Monitor and the TecOrder Entry Service. Companies use the Business Monitor to monitor the performance of TecLocal. A system of reports shows items ranging from transactions to lost sales. The TecOrder Entry Service offers the possibility to convert orders arriving by e-mail, fax or file into TecLocal orders.
Equally interesting for buyers and suppliers is the Web-based TecWarranty for the comfortable, simple and fast handling of claims cases. Its use brings high transparency and closure without media breaks.
TecCMI optimizes planning and forecast processes as well as both traders’ and suppliers’ inventories. CMI stands for Collaborative Managed Inventory; the tool calculates orders, quantities, and target inventories on the basis of historical data and the latest updates. It performs this task reliably for all desired articles and enables ordering direct from the ERP system.
TecCMD
The solution for managing article and pricing data between suppliers and traders in the automotive part market.
TecCMD makes possible for the first time a standardized electronic exchange of article, price and logistics data among all participants. From a common database the data is complete and correct when it is needed –independent of existing IT and customer structures.
With TecCMD TecCom won recognition for the Innovation Product 2008 ITK from the Initiative for Medium-sized Companies in the category DMS/Datamanagement, TecCMD convinced the jury with its high user value, innovative content and optimum suitability for medium-sized companies.
NEW: TecIdentify- the solution to check auto parts for authenticity
In cooperation with the European association of automotive suppliers (CLEPA), TecCom has developed TecIdentify, the first IT-based standard solution for the automotive branch to check whether parts are genuine.
Each product is labelled with an identification number, unique in the world, in the form of a Data Matrix barcode. It is easy to send this code to the TecIdentify platform with a scanner, mobile phone camera or manual entry.
With TecIdentify each article can be uniquely identified and verified within seconds – worldwide, 24 hours a day.
