The brake part manufacturer LPR S.r.l. from Piacenza in Italy can now be reached through the TecOrder part ordering platform. LPR already provides article data to the TecDoc catalogue as a “Certified Data Supplier.” The decision for TecOrder was as a logical next step to simplify inquiry and order processes for the company’s customers worldwide.

Trade customers can now retrieve information about part availability and place orders online around the clock. They also receive order confirmations electronically. As the next step to improve its customer service LPR plans to send electronic despatch advice notices and invoices.

Since its founding in 1977 LPR has grown to be one of the largest international manufacturers of brake parts for the independent aftermarket. The company has a broad product line including among others brake cylinders, hoses, drums, discs and pads. Recently LPR has started marketing drive shafts and water pumps.

In the factory in Piacenza more than 25 million units are manufactured with coverage of 96 per cent of vehicles. The products are sold in 76 countries around the world; LPR has stockrooms and sales offices in many countries such as Spain, Germany, Macedonia, Albania, Hungary, USA and Hong Kong.
