The meeting of the User Group Trade on 22 September 2011 in Frankfurt, Germany, was again a complete success with almost 50 representatives attending. The event serves as a communication platform for all market players and is highly valued by trade and industry alike. The emphasis is on the exchange of views among TecCom users, where special attention is devoted to the requirements, wishes and problems of traders.

Wholesalers were once again well represented with a third of the attendees. Regular participants include the suppliers Herth+Buss, Hella, SKF, TMD and the wholesaler companies Knoll, Lorch, Matthies, Trost und Wessels-Müller. Representatives came from different departments such as purchasing, sales, logistics and IT.

The agenda included status reports on the TecCom solutions TecOrder and TecInvoice. For TecOrder the highlights included ongoing developments regarding the EU project auto-gration and the advantages and use statistics for reverse messages (order confirmation, despatch advice and invoice). For TecInvoice the cooperation with Fibu-im-Nu.de and the current status at TecInvoice invoice recipients like Carat, Aktivbank, Coparts and Matthies as well as Hennig were presented.

Dr. Stefan Marx, head of software development and quality assurance at TecCom, provided an overview of the strategy and development road map for the TecCom solutions. In conclusion Herbert Heupke, sales manager of Geoplan Systems GmbH, gave an interesting presentation with the title “Evaluate and Compare Article Data – Dig into Your Data!”

The next meetings of the User Group Trade will take place on 22 March 2012 and 25 October 2012 in Frankfurt/Kelsterbach (Germany).
