Traders with TecComfort Order can send inquiries and orders to their suppliers directly from the graphic user interfaces (GUI) of their enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Reverse messages are also automatically loaded into the system. The connection using Web services is state-of-the-art technology and makes it easy to program the interface from the ERP system to the TecCom platform.

Through integration article data is directly transferred from the ERP system so that the ordering process can be automated. Orders are initiated in the ERP system and sent to the supplier electronically. Availability information is returned immediately online, making it possible to react quickly and flexibly. Automatic receipt and processing of reverse messages makes it possible to include current order status in stock planning to optimise the disposition.

Integration with TecComfort Order avoids errors in part identification and when entering order data. The connection also saves time in daily tasks. Orders are entered only once in the familiar GUI of the ERP system and sent online. Transmission takes place using an individually programmed interface. Many software houses and ERP system providers already offer turnkey solutions for the connection.

Since 2005 TecCom has been offering integration with Web services. The advantage of Web services lies in the fact that the standards used are independent of the platform, programming languages and protocols involved. This makes it easier to program the interface to the TecCom platform. There are already many standard interfaces from software houses and ERP system suppliers that can be added quickly and easily. Wholesalers can also easily program their own solutions in their own system environments.
