Tips & Tricks – TecLocal 3.0: Explaining the Symbols in TecLocal
TecLocal uses a whole series of symbols; we present them in this edition of Tips & Tricks. The symbols provide information on the availability of articles, identify processes and documents or display errors. In the newest TecLocal Version 2.4.020 there are additional symbols to show differences in the delivered quantity or differentiate more precisely among invoice documents.
New symbols for modified quantities
In the current version of TecLocal (2.4.020) the grid list in the order form and in the detailed view of the Outbound Journal has been extended. A new symbol appears at the position level to show that the requested quantity has been modified by the supplier. The green "+" indicates that the quantities have been increased. The "-" means that the quantities have been reduced. This is also indicated by the partial availability symbol.

Distinction among invoice, credit note and debit note
Another new feature of Version 2.4.020 is the possibility to determine within the document type “Invoice” whether a document is an invoice, a credit note or a debit note. The debit note is an invoice for a service, a differentiation not used by all suppliers.
The standard invoice is still symbolized by three yellow coins, a credit note by a single coin with a red “+”, a debit note by three grey coins.
